ABAC: Jaye hit .361 as a freshman playing 45 games at second base. She hit in our 2nd spot in the lineup and had 53 hits, 1 double and had 6 RBI’s and scored 20 runs.

Campbell on Jaye: “I am super excited to get Jaye into our ABAC softball program. She is a fundamentally sound athlete who can play several positions. I expect Jaye to be a mainstay in our Fillie lineup again in 20145 She is a perfect example of a great student-athlete and just a fun kid to coach.”

High School: Jaye went to Dodge County High School where she played varsity softball and basketball for 4 years. She received best defensive player her sophomore and junior year in softball and Best offensive player her senior year. She was named to the All- Region team her sophomore, junior, and senior year and All Middle Georgia her junior and senior year. She was All State her junior and senior year and has the school record for most stolen bases in a season. She also received rising star for Basketball her freshman year, the “Bob Davis” award her junior and senior year and Academic Athlete. She was All Region her junior and senior year, and All State her Senior year.

Personal: Jaye was born on October 12, 1993 to Mike and Sara Hilliard. She has one older brother. Other than softball she enjoys playing basketball, spending time with family, and painting.

Why ABAC? “I really liked Coach Campbell’s attitude. She genuinely cares for the program and made me feel like she wanted me to be a part of it.”
