As a unit of the 29-member University System of Georgia, Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College is one of the premier colleges in the state of Georgia. The College was founded in 1908 as the Second District A&M School. With more than 3,000 students, ABAC provides quality practical education to a diverse group of students.

Located on 516 acres of sun-splashed south Georgia countryside, ABAC provides an enlightening and engaging environment for its students. More than 1,300 students from across the globe choose to live on campus and enjoy life in Tifton, named one of the best small towns in America.

ABAC provides students with endless opportunities to learn and grow as individuals. Size of Campus

ABAC covers 516 acres of sun-splashed South Georgia countryside. It is located in Tifton, Ga., a town of 16,000 residents. Tifton is the county seat of Tift County, which includes 42,000 residents.

The Stallion is one of the top student newspapers in the state. For over 40 years, it has been the benchmark for excellence in categories such as editorials, feature writing, photography, and layout and design from the Georgia College Press Association.
